New Wave Maritime Training and Assessment Center, Inc. opened its doors to Filipino seafarers on December 3, 2024. Founded and led by Dr. Mark Anthony A. Vera — a dynamic leader from Negros with a solid background in the maritime industry — together with a small, dedicated team, New Wave was built on a shared passion for supporting seafarers through high-quality training and certification.
